Notable flights

Iconic flight numbers worth watching — flagships, record-breakers, fifth-freedom oddities, and the world's busiest long-haul arteries.

Where this data comes from

Each flight page shows today's schedule and actual times from AeroDataBox, served from a shared six-hour cache so a page view never triggers more than a single lookup. Live positions, when a flight is airborne, come from open ADS-B data via the tracker.

The punctuality history builds up over time: every time one of these flights is looked up — here or in the tracker — we record that day's schedule, actual times, and aircraft. New flights start with an empty history and fill in day by day, so averages and on-time rates appear once we've gathered enough real observations.
