Editorial Policy

We want FlightScope’s reference content to be trustworthy. This page explains how it is put together and kept honest.

How aircraft facts are researched

Specifications and history on the aircraft-type pages are compiled by hand from publicly available sources — primarily manufacturer figures and airport-planning documents, cross-checked against reputable references. Figures such as range, seating, and maximum take-off weight vary with configuration, so we present typical, approximate values rather than implying a single authoritative number.

How facts are verified and corrected

  • Numbers are cross-referenced across at least two independent public sources.
  • Facts are written in a neutral, encyclopedic tone.
  • Each type page shows a “Last updated” date reflecting when the dataset was last reviewed.
  • Spotted a mistake? Email us and we will correct it.

Fare deals

Fare data is cached and approximate. It reflects the cheapest fares travellers found recently through our data provider, not live availability, and it can be stale or wrong. A price is flagged as a “deal” only when it falls below roughly 70% of that route’s 90-day typical price — a heuristic, not a promise. Always verify a fare with the airline or a booking site before purchasing.

The “View on Google Flights” buttons are plain search links. They are not affiliate links, and we earn nothing if you book. See our data sources for provider details.
