Air Force One tracker: where the presidential 747s are now
"Air Force One" is the radio callsign of any US Air Force aircraft with the President aboard, but it is best known as the two VC-25A jets, modified Boeing 747-200s. This page shows them, and the 747-8 being prepared as an interim replacement, whenever they broadcast their position publicly.
Government and military aircraft appear here only when they broadcast their position publicly over ADS-B. Many of their flights do not.

What this tracker shows
The tracker follows the two VC-25A airframes by their transponder addresses, along with a 747-8 listed in public aircraft registries as the VC-25B "bridge" aircraft, which the Air Force is preparing as an interim presidential jet.
Not every flight of these aircraft carries the President: they also fly training, maintenance and positioning flights. And the presidential fleet often flies without broadcasting its position publicly, so an empty list is normal. Nothing here is real-time security information; it is only what any ADS-B receiver can hear.
The aircraft
The VC-25As entered service in 1990. Inside, they carry a presidential suite, an office, a conference room, a medical area and extensive communications equipment, and they can be refueled in flight. Their replacements, two Boeing 747-8s being converted as VC-25Bs, have faced repeated delays.
Questions
Can you track Air Force One live?
Only when it broadcasts its position publicly over ADS-B, which it often does not. When it does, it appears in the list above within 30 seconds.
Is Air Force One a specific plane?
Air Force One is the callsign used by any Air Force aircraft carrying the President. The name is most associated with the two VC-25A 747s, but a smaller jet flying the President also becomes Air Force One.
Why isn't an aircraft I know is flying on the map?
Positions come from volunteer ADS-B receivers, which only hear aircraft within roughly 200 nautical miles. Over oceans, deserts and parts of Africa and Asia there are few receivers, so an aircraft can vanish mid-flight and reappear near land. Military and some government aircraft also switch their transponders' public data off.
