What happened

At 12:55 UTC on 6 November 2026, GBODE, a Piper PA-28 Cherokee/Archer registered G-BODE, began transmitting transponder code 7600, lost communications (nordo), near Leeds (LBA) at -200 ft.

The code stayed up for about 10 minutes; we last saw it at 13:05 UTC, by which time the aircraft was at 500 ft. The map shows the path flown around the event, colored from live ADS-B positions.

A squawk code is set by the crew on the transponder. 7600 means radio failure: the aircraft has lost two-way communication with air traffic control and is following standard procedures. Nothing here is confirmed by the operator or an investigating authority; it is what the aircraft broadcast.

Data from community ADS-B receivers (adsb.lol, ODbL). Not for operational use.
